Durrett Interests wanted to build a new type of residential development in central Austin, one that combined luxury and sustainability. Spoonbend was asked to develop a brand experience offering homeowners a lifestyle that respects the natural environment, and the desire for luxury and convenience. To successfully market this development, AvenueOne Properties, the exclusive listing agent, needed a way to communicate this experience to prospective buyers.
Spoonbend teamed with Durrett Interests to create the name, identity, and story behind Verdance, a community built around luxurious eco-conscious living. Once the core brand was established, we designed a communication system, which included a brochure, website, property signage and print advertising, to convey the essence of the Verdance lifestyle. Verdance broke ground in May 2007 and is expected to be completed in Summer 2008. The project has been well received by homebuyers and realtors alike.
